The primary parent can now close the family account (and cards) by going to the “Settings” area of the app and pressing “Account”. To be able to close the account successfully the primary parent must:
- Have or update the app to version 3.32.05
- Sell all investments that were made on the current investment platform (Apex).
- Have a funding source connected so any funds inside any child accounts or on cards can be returned.
If you currently have no funding source connected or no longer have the app downloaded, it might be faster for you to contact customer support at help@busykid.com or through chat in the app or on the BusyKid website. If you receive an error message please contact our support team. There are no refunds on annual subscriptions.

This doesn't actually tell me how to close the account. I suppose I have to call someone right? Who?
Where is the info on how to close my account? Charging 50 dollars a year for a card that most retailers won’t accept is borderline thievery.

Here's how:
Use the, "How can we help?" Chat bot.
Get to a "Talk to a human" prompt.
Ask them to cancel.
They made it pretty easy after that.
